Powering The Future: Electric Equipment

We're happy to have the team from the Flotte Rechargeable Machinerie Lourde (Rechargeable Heavy Equipment Fleet) project among our exhibitors at the 2027 edition of the show. Led by the Institute for Innovative Vehicles, they will host a series of informative, educational, and inspiring sessions on electric heavy equipment. Visitors will be able to learn more about the equipment, charging solutions, and their impact on operations. Drawing on data collected during field tests, the presenters will discuss reducing GHG emissions, lowering operating costs, and improving efficiency—all without compromising performance. Discover how manufacturers are driving the next generation of projects. Explore innovative technologies, network with experts, and learn how electrification is redefining the construction industry.

Full presentation schedule will be available closer to the show.

Expo Grands Travaux EV

Companies want to reduce their environmental footprint, fleet electrification is a concrete solution. To support this transition, reliable information on costs, technologies, and best practices is essential. This project aims to provide clear benchmarks, feedback from experience, and realistic assessments of the benefits, enabling conditions, challenges, and necessary investments. As interest in zero-emission technologies continues to grow, we want to provide fleet managers with the data and real-world testing they need to make informed decisions and build confidence in electric heavy equipment and charging infrastructure.

Led by the Innovative Vehicle Institute (IVI), this project is made possible thanks to the financial support of the Government of Quebec as part of the Action-Climat Québec program, coordinated by the Quebec Action Fund for Sustainable Development and which stems from the Plan for a Green Economy 2030 .
